The DataTrans DT400 Data Acquisition System stores up to 80 hours of continuous vehicle activity, which can accumulate to weeks or months worth of vehicle data. There are several options for downloading this recorded information...you decide the option that works best for you.

You can use our removable 'Smart Key' system, which has the added benefit of providing automatic equipment operator identification. You can use our low-cost Downloading Cable option, or you can use the fully automatic wireless Drive-By Download option.

If opting for the Smart Key, the retrieval of the information from the DT400 is a simple process. The Key is simply removed from the DT400 and plugged into the DataTrans Key Reader, which connects to a standard PC port. And since the Smart Keys provide automatic driver identification, they can be used as the basis for payroll and driver scheduling applications. 

Whichever option you select, with the DataTrans system there is no wireless airtime to purchase, or application service provider fees to pay. You have complete control and ownership of the data - after all, it's your data!
